Rebecca’s author photo–you can vote!
So sometimes being a writer in my own little way is pretty much the best thing on earth, because it gives me license to do strange projects in the name of art, and to enlist others. Last weekend, I got to do my dream photo-shoot, which was me on a bus, being semi-serious, semi-goofball. Thanks–so much–to Dave Kemp for humouring me in this endeavour. It was as fun as I thought it would be–maybe more.

April 22nd, 2011 at 12:10 amNumber 3 for sure. Numbers 1 and 2 don’t show enough of the bus; it may not be really clear where you are (especially if the pic gets rendered B&W for the book). Number 4 is a bit too smiley. Number 5 is a touch unnatural. But #3 is your author photo. You’ve got this great tilt to your chin that says “I’ve kinda done this really cool thing, and you can come share in it if you like”, and the photo’s got enough of the bus to show where you are, and in turn show an image that is a big part of your life and of your work.
