Throwback: April 21, 2009: Cake in Japanese
“Cake” in Japanese
Kehki. I’m guessing pronounced “CAY-key,” right?
Possibly not the most useful word, but I imagine it’ll come up at least few times [note for the future: one of things I was going to Japan to do was celebrate my birthday]. Also, science centre! Also, giant department store, tea ceremony, sumo restaurant, iris garden, anarchist art museum, Prada building, and possibly a puppet show. 3 weeks from today!!
At least I call

Pronounced like you think, cake-ee. And good to know because Japanese cakes are amazing, and you should try to eat as many as possible. So excited for you!April 21, 2009 at 12:10 PM

My father is a huge fan of japanese cake and I always try to bake one for him whenever we see my parents. He has yet to be fully blown away by any of the recipes i’ve tried. Simplicity is key, and yours looks perfect! Can’t wait to try it. thank you for shearing your post.
